Our business idea is to offer people a more pleasant and less costly way to have laser eye surgeries by travelling to Istanbul in Turkey.

We have very strict requirements and want everything to work out perfectly. We demand that the doctor performing the eye treatments has the expertise and experience necessary to be able to perform high quality eye surgeries.

The quality is very important to us. We have therefore chosen our collaborating partners after the following criterias:
- Quality in care and the doctors experience.
- The clinic must use the latest equipment.
- Hygiene. The clinic must be FDA approved.
- Level of service towards the patients.
- Price.

Lasikabroad.co.uk is run by Salveo Travel which started its business in the spring of 2006. Salveo Travel is a company with strong relations to health travel. We continously work with developing our services towards our patients, increase knowledge in health travel and increase the number of treatments offered to you.

We highly value the personal service given to patients. We want all our patients to be satisfied, not only with their new vision but also with the experience of seeing what a fantastic city Istanbul is.

The reason we can offer such low prices compared to eye clinics in western Europe is that the level of price and salary is much lower in Turkey. Just like a laser eye surgery costs one or two monthly salaries in western Europe, a laser eye surgery in Turkey costs the same for turkish people. The advantage for western europeans is that they get the same surgery in Turkey for less money and you get a vacation at the same time.
